Pennell

This plant grows on the bluff side of the hill, near the graveyard in Golovin. It grows about a foot high and has bright yellow flowers and dark green, thin leaves.

I asked several Elders about the plant and they all agreed that the plant is picked and used as greens, mixed with other plants; however, no one knew the name. Like some of the others that do not have names listed, this plant is not used as much as some of the others throughout this collection and could be the reason the no name is remembered. Perhaps before foods from the outside were common, greens such as this plant were named, but as time goes on, they are forgotten.
