"WHY IS BILINGUAL EDUCATION IMPORTANT TO ME"
Bilingual Education is important to me so I can speak both Yup'ik and English. I can learn more. The more I speak English the better I get in English.
My grandma and grandpa can teach me how to talk in Yup'ik but not in English. My grandpa and grandma teaches me how to make toys and how to make string stories and butter knife stores with mud . My sister and aunts teaches me how to talk in English and also my teachers when I am in school. My teacher teaches me the most about how to talk in English and also the grammar about English. I like school because I get to learn more stuff about English. Other people or students in school also teaches me how to make Eskimo arts and crafts. when we are in English class we learn how to read and write in English. Talking in English and Yup'ik can teach us how to talk in both ways and we can learn how to read and write in both Yup'ik and English.
My grandpa and grandma can teach me how to Eskimo Dance and other
things such as, some advice and how to make yo-yo's. We trade when we
want to. If we are going to trade we give something to other people
than he/she gives us something else. We always trade. When we are
going to trade we sometimes trade for something and we don't have to
give them back or if you don't want to trade you don't have to. When
we trade we give something like fur. In the old days people used to
trade for food or other things.
