* Parent, Family, and Community Involvement: This category identifies agencies, communities, and individuals who can help define and nurture the parent's, family's and community's role in a child's education
* Common Shared Visions: This category identifies agencies and organizations that are established to build collaborative relationships within the education community, i.e., Alaska Staff Development Network.
* Accountability/Governance: This category identifies the policy makers, administrators, and those who are ultimately accountable for school performance and building "ownership" in our schools, i.e., all schools, all school districts, School Boards, Alaska State Board of Education, Department of Education and Early Development.
* Research: This category identifies agencies, organizations, and companies that conduct Alaska Native education research. This category also includes a bibliography of recent definitive research.
* Leadership Development: This category identifies agencies, organizations, and programs that are designed to cultivate leadership development in the Alaska Native community, i.e., spirit camps, youth opportunities.
* Cultural Curriculum Development: This category identifies agencies, school districts, organizations, and individuals who are involved in Native cultural curriculum development and provides brief descriptions of the curriculum developed.
* Anchorage School District: This category provides contact information for Alaska Native parents who are seeking support and information for their child enrolled in the Anchorage School District. This category is particularly important for families who have recently moved or thinking of moving to Anchorage and need information to make informed decisions and access available support within the District.
* Language Immersion Schools/Language Education: This category provides contact information and brief descriptions of the Native language and immersion programs available in Alaska.
* Educator Support and Professional Development: This category includes contact information and brief descriptions of programs and agencies designed to provide professional development and assistance to Alaska Native and rural educators.
* Student Financial Support: This category identifies ANCSA scholarship and grant contacts, as well as financial aid available for Alaska Natives through the State and other organizations.
* Cultural Awareness in Education: This category identifies individuals and programs designed to impart knowledge about and awareness of Alaska Native culture.
* Workforce Development: This category identifies programs and organizations that provide workforce development, vocational education, and employment services.
