Flora's Fun Summer

Flora Evan just graduated in May and she looked forward to going to Anchorage for a Tri-discipline Conference. She stayed there for a week and had a lot of fun. She got to go out shopping and bowling. The rest of the time was spent at the conference. It was a great experience for her. When she got back from Anchorage she started working in the school as an assistant secretary. She would send out mail and keep everything updated.

Flora also went out spring camping with her grandparents, Bernice and some other people. While she was out camping, she hunted and fished. She also learned how to drive her Uppa's boat alone. One time she even drove her mom up to their camp.

Later on in the summer, Flora and her family went out berrypicking. She picked a lot of berries, in fact, the most berries she'd ever picked in her whole life.

And one of the best things of all, since Flora was out of school, she got to go home at night whenever she wanted to. And she really enjoyed staying out late without being told to go home!
