The Owl and the Rabbit
Once upon a time there lived a baby
owl who was friends with a baby rabbit. They did not know that they
wore supposed tobe enemies until one day when they were full grown.
One of the rabbit's friends, a Chickadee, who lived nearby told him
this and the rabbit became afraid of what might happen to him. So he
left without saying a word to his friend the owl. The owl, wondering
where his friend had gone, asked the little chickadee and when the
chickadee told the owl, the owl was sad that he stayed home for a few
days hoping his friend would come back to visit him.
But after waiting for a long time
his friend did not come to his home. So the owl decided to go
searching for him. After searching for a long time he finally found
his friend and asked him why he had gone without telling him. The
rabbit told him what the chickadee had said to him. But the owl
replied that he would never hurt him. And so it was that the two of
them wont back home together and were fast friends
forever.
