Tina Papp's best summer
ever!
The first three weeks of my summer I
traveled all over Montana by car. While I was traveling through
Montana I saw a lot of wildlife, different cities and towns, large
mountains and trees.
After traveling for three weeks we finally
settled down at the lake. Actually it's called Flathead Lake. That is
the biggest lake I have ever seen in my life.
After we settled down we started doing some
fun stuff like water skiing, tubeing, taking boat rides and of course
swimming.
During that time I got to meet Ed and
Annie's families. One of my best times in Montana was going to the
water-slides. It was nice and hot out and there was loud music and a
lot of people to meet. The best waterslide I went on was the one
called Geronimo. It was 70 feet high. When I slid down Geronimo it
felt like my lungs went all the way up to my
throat.
Have you ever heard of Glacier National
Park? Any-ways, Glacier National Park is very beautiful. Actually
there are no glaciers. But you travel along a mountain. If you think
Pilcher is a big mountain, the mountains in Glacier National Park are
about 100 times its size. And you are traveling on the side of this
tall mountain. It almost made me sick.
If you do ever travel down to Montana, check
out the fun things that interest you best.
I thought that my summer went by too fast.
Do you know why it went by too fast? It's because I was always busy
doing something interesting.
There is also something important I learned
while I was in Montana! I learned that you can have so much fun
without partying. I am real glad I went down because I learned a lot
of things and experienced a lot of things I thought I would never do.
This was my best summer ever and I will never forget
it.
