Teddy's
Adventure
One morning Teddy woke up bright and
early. He told his mother he was going to go out walking on the
mountain near his home. His mother agreed end told him to be back
before dark. She gave him some food and helped him put on some warm
clothes.
Shortly after he started to walk he
saw some wolves ahead of him at the bottom of the mountain on the
other side of a forest. He was really curious about the wolves, so he
started down the hill to follow them. He walked through the thick
dark forest, and when he got to the other side of the forest he saw
the wolves eating something on the tundra. There he stopped and
watched them eat and play. As it got dark he kept on watching the
wolves. Then he finally decided to walk back home.
But when he started to walk through
the thick forest he got lost. He couldn't find his way back out so he
tried to remember which way he had come in. He sat down and ate some
food because he was hungry. He had to keep his mind and body flowing
so he wouldn't get too tired.
When he was done eating he began
walking again until he found the little trail he started on. When he
finally got out of the forest he was so happy he ran the rest of the
way home. When he told his mother about what happened, she said not
to walk through the forest again. He agreed and decided to walk only
on the tundra areas from that day on.
