from Alaska Native Knowledge Network - Monday, 14 March 2011, 10:45 am

Molly Hootch Hymes has written a book, "I Remember When," about growing up along the Kwiguk Pass of the lower Yukon River. The stories describe her family's subsistence life and include her memories of events that happened in her younger years. She also talks briefly about "The Molly Hootch Case" and her recent life, but mostly the book is a window into life as it was lived in the 1960s in Emmonak.

She is self publishing the book, and copies can be ordered for $15 plus $5 shipping and handling through Molly Hootch Hymes Productions, PO Box 353, Bemidji, MN 55601. You can contact her at ahymes@paulbunyan.net
