International Indigenous Development Research Conference 2012

Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga will hold its next biennial International Indigenous Development Research Conference, previously the Traditional Knowledge conference, in Auckland June 2012. Our conference will again be all-encompassing and multi-disciplinary, welcoming indigenous scholars from many different research fields and nations to come together and share knowledge, develop ideas and create innovative approaches to research. Working together, we can create future opportunities for indigenous peoples worldwide.

In the meantime, add these important dates in your diary (subject to change).
• July 2011: Themes published and call for abstracts
• 1 December 2011: Abstract deadline. Note the earlier deadline than previous years
• January 2012: Registrations open
• March 2012: Preliminary programme published
• April 2012: Early bird registration closes
• June 27–30 2012: International Indigenous Development Research Conference
