Save the Date first notice for BMEEC 2013



The Alaska BMEEC (Bilingual Multicultural Education Equity Conference) is an annual statewide conference providing professional development and networking for educators of culturally and linguistically diverse learners in preschool through college. Keynote speakers and workshop presenters provide information on standards, programs, techniques, pedagogy and practices designed to increase effective instruction and improve outcomes for all students.

The conference is November 20-22, 2013 at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel. The theme: STEAM* and The Wisdom of Our Languages & Cultures (*Science Technology Engineering, Arts and Math).

We invite presenters and speakers on any of these topics to share promising practices, culturally relevant lessons and success stories.
