This is a baseline study of land use by the Point Hope people. This period of time was chose because it was the last in which Native activiities reasonably can be considered to have occurred with a minimum of Euroamerican influence. The Author has spent many years researching the area and this is a definitive study documenting with detailed maps how the land was used.
