This true life story, simplly told, is a testament to the durability of Alaska's wildlands and to the strength of the people who inhabit them. Sidney Huntington, son of an Thabascan mother and a white trader/trapper father grew up along the Koyukuk River. These are some of his life adventures well told . This would make a good classroom read-aloud for upper grades.
