In January 1949 three King Island Eskimo hunters went on the ice pack to hunt seal and were swept away. Ocean currents carried them far into the Arctic Ocean. Without food or shelter they were all presumed dead. One hunter, Gregory Ayac, survived and this is his story of the 18 days and nights.
