From the introduction: " I 'm writing this to share with you the happy memories of living in fishcamp. Memories full of fun and work. When we lived there as children, it seemed like a lonesome and at times boring place to be. Now I realize there is no place to live that can compare with the peacefulness, serenity and satisfaction of living in "Fishcamp". This is a very good book to read about summer subsistence life and also about living in the village of Holy Cross.
