In the early l930's the son of a wealthy American family journeyed to Alaska under the guise of studying forests and fell in love with the Koyukon region. He returned to spend fifteen months in Wiseman and adjoining area . This was a happy time for him and he wrote this book about the people and life in Wiseman. There are many photographs and statistical observations but mainly this book is an enjoyable read.
