Hugh Brody describes colonialism with great insight and good writing. This is a book about colonialsim of the Eskimos of Northeastern Canada by intruders from the South. "He tells how the Whites came as fur-traders and missionaries- and stayed on as administrators. How they transferred their suburban world incongrously to the north, where ....... they have built slums for the Eskimos and bungalows for themselves."New teachers to bush schools could learn much from this book.
