As a Chilkat weaver, Jennie Thlunaut dedicated three quarters of a century to continuing this art. Work on this video began during a Chilkat weaving workshop that Jennie taught in 1985. Through poetry, interviews, and documentary footage, the video looks at Jennie's life and art. It is also a study of the relationship between kinship, land, and at.óow (sacred art). This is not a professional production; on the contrary, it is a loving and personal homage to Jennie, shot on home video by Nora Marks Dauenhauer and Suzanne Scollon.

Produced by Sealaska Heritage Foundation, 1988. VHS, 21 minutes. $20.00
