"Response to Douglas Branson's review of Thomas Berger's Village Journey. Case, a counsel for the Comission which sponsored and published the report, responds to Branson's review. He cites several misperceptions (mischaracterizations) by Branson, including the kind of study commissioned, the kind of participants, corporation law emphasis, and authenticity. He concludes that the report is not without criticism, but that the rhetoric Branson has used has no place in a scholarly work, especially one on an issue that has no one solution to the problem it has spawned."1
