One of a series of short booklets on ANCSA. Parker summarizes ANCSA provisions which affect state, federal, and private land selections and use. He discusses aspects of joint land interests which need to be incorporated into statewide regional planning including watershed management, fish and game management, recreational management, natural resource management, and government services, i.e. police, public health, etc. Also summarized are three land use planning bills which were before Congress at the time of publication, and alternatives for cooperative land management in Alaska.
