Long-Range Plan

This Long-Range Plan was introduced at the Native Leadership Retreat held in Dillingham on August 19-20, 1993.

AFN Planning Committee revisions, along with input from Native Leadership Retreat participants, the AFN Board and AFN Convention delegates, have been incorporated into the document.

On February 3, 1994, the AFN Planning Committee recommended adoption of the Long-Range Plan by the AFN Board of Directors. Such action will be considered at the February 15-16, 1994 AFN Board meeting in Juneau.

The Planning Committee recommends that the Long-Range Plan be reviewed and updated at least once every three years. AFN staff will devise an operating plan in accordance with Long-Range Plan.
