"The students of the three high schools involved in the writing this magazine chose KWIKPAGMUIT as their title because it means MIGHTY LOWER YUKON RIVER PEOPLE. Alakanuk High School, Emmonak High School, and Mountain Village High School are three very small schools. This project was begun in November, 1975. "
