Find a set of mouse holes, start poking with a stick or knife. If you find a nest, somewhere in that area is a food storage. Start poking near the area and feel for hollow place with your knife or stick. If you hear a crunching sound, start opening it with your knife on the surface and check inside. You will find a bunch of mouse food not only in one area, for they usually have more than one storage. Select the large and best nuts or roots, leaving unwanted behind.
