Introduce the various tundra berries in English/Yup'ik, take students on field trips to pick and identify berries.
Students will learn how to make different types of akutaq, make recipes, jelly, and identify medicinal berries.
Students will prepare and store berries properly in a freezer.
1. Observe older persons way of picking tundra berries.
