Detailed Description
1.Students will practice making different kinds of traditional fish traps
2.Students will practice pronunciation of the words
3.Students will do research on the different types of fish traps and their names from the community and home.
4.The students will learn to list parts of and different types of fish traps names in Yup'ik, and English.
5.Students will write reports on the fish traps and explain their design uses.

1.Assign homework where students ask parents or community
2.Members about specific fish traps and their traditional uses.
3.Compile a word list
4.Pronounce vocabulary in Yup'ik and English
5.Write short summaries of each fish trap.
