Procedures: Students collect local grass from area. Instructor shows how to make grass mats. Students will follow instruction to make storage bags,and mats for winter ice fishing.

1. Go on field trip to gather grass.
2. Show samples of grass weaving.
3. Preparation/demonstration by instructor
4. Show different types of grass weaving.
5. Have student make their own weaving.
