Detailed Description
Procedures:
Students will learn how to sew different ways on skins of animals, the correct way to cut and sew skins for different uses, and know what kinds of needles and threads to use. Preparing thread out of flax twine with the use of the wax, when not using waxed dental floss.

Description of Activities:
1. Students will make appropriate patterns to trace on skins or hides of animals.
2. Students will learn the correct way of cutting skins or hide with the use of an uluaq, razor blade, or exacto knife.
3. Students will learn the correct stitches used when sewing skins or hide for different types of clothing
4. Write vocabulary words
5. Write reports on skin sewing
