Detailed Description
After listening to three oral stories, each student illustrates one of the stories and retells in own words. Students:
1. Illustrate each major event in the story on a separate piece of paper.
2. Arrange illustrations in correct sequence and use them to practice retelling story.
3. Retell story to class, using illustrations as visual aids.
4. Conclude presentation with a recommendation for the story's main character/s. (Fairy tale example -- "The little pigs should make houses out of cement.")
