RED BEAR

It is just like an American Grizzly but it has red fur. It lives in the Himalayas and in northern India. It eats grass and roots and some animals.

HORSE BEAR

It is also like a Grizzly bear but its fur is yellowish brown. It lives in Tibet and China, and it may kill up to 1500 people a year there. It eats meat and fruit and grass.

Higuma Brown Bear

There are 3,000 Higuma Brown Bears in Japan. They are found on the island of Hokkaido in Japan. Since there are not many of these bears left there, the Japanese Government wants to save them. To do this they have set aside a special park for them.
