One time last year Jenny's whole class went to the gold mine for one night. The same day we saw a bear. Before we saw the bear we went to the top of the mountain. It took our whole class 30 minutes to get to the top. When we went back down, M.J., Mike Hull, Sophie, and Frank A. and I took a short cut. Jenny, Kaaina, Matthew, Jackie, Jonathan, Joe, and Leon took the long trail. Even so Kaaina and Leon got to the camp first but they didn't notice the trash can was missing. When we arrived we didn't notice either. But by the time the rest of the kids came back from the mountain we finally noticed the missing trash can. One of the boys was the first one to see the Black bear. Mary Jane was so scared she had to hold on to Mike Hull. We talked about the bear for the rest of the day and night.
