One time when the weather was nice and cool, good for picking berries Gerilyn and I went up to the tundra to pick berries. As we were walking up to the tundra we saw an eagle on top of a Christmas tree. Gerilyn had her camera with her so she took a couple shots of the eagle.

Soon we were at our berry patch and picking berries. Gerilyn went her way down the hill where she saw a lot of berries and I went the other direction where I saw another patch of berries on the tundra.

Later, Gerilyn and I got hungry so we took out our snacks and sat on the tundra to eat. As we were eating we saw another eagle flying past us, but it was a little lower. Gerilyn and I started talking about how cool eagles are and how they fly with the wind.

Later, after we talked for awhile we began to pick berries again. Soon our buckets were full and we decided to go home.

When we went home we told our parents that we had seen a couple of eagles, and they thought that was really cool.
