Peanut Butter Cookies

3/4 cup Jif creamy peanut butter
1 / 2 cup Crisco shortening
1-1/4 cups brown sugar
3 tbsp milk
1 tbsp vanilla
1 egg
1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 tbsp salt
3/4 tbsp baking soda

Peanut Butter Cookies

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended. Combine flour, salt, baking soda and add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by heaping tbsp of mix 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly in criss cross pattern with tines of fork. Bake for 7-8 minutes or until brown. Cool two minutes on baking sheet before removing to cooling rack.
