The Sad Adventure

Once there was a small village that nobody ever knew or heard about. It was a very good village where people were always helping each other and always had something to do everyday, something that was fun to do. People never got bored and they always had lots of fun. There was no lighting or drinking in the village because they had never had it before. They all cared about the animals and the environment around them.

There was this boy in the villagewho cared more than all the other people for his people, the land and the animals. He was also very smart and strong. One day his fathergot sick and Lila family only had enough food for supper and the next day. So he told his father that he was going to hunt for more food. Then he got some things ready to go hunting. He took everything he needed to go out to the wilderness and hunt for food for his family.

While he was looking around he saw some rabbits playing. Instead of shooting them though he watched how they were playing, and then he started thinking about all those things about the rabbits and all the other animals, like... If I killed them, then they'd have no fun at all being dead... their friends would be sad and lonely without them... and they are so very much like us. He started feeling really sorry for those two rabbits and the other animals. He even cried with tears as he yelled, "Why? Why? Why? do we have to get hungry? Why!?"

At that, the two little rabbits ran away with fright. The boy got up and was just about to break all of his weapons when his sick father's image popped into his mind and he started to think about how he needed food to get better. So he sadly went off hunting again. When he came to a big moose he watched it sadly and in his mind he prayed that the moose would forgive him after he killed him.

He brought the moose meat home and his fatter was very proud of his son. Later that day he decided to write his "Sad Adventure" and save the memory of it forever and ever............ by Stella Walker
