More Blueberries Than Ever Before

"This summer I hardly did anything that exciting. All I did was work at the Co-op store on weekends and when I was needed on weekdays. When I wasn't working I went out on boat rides over to the sandbar with my husband Bucko, our kids, and his nieces and nephew. When I wasn't at work I went out salmon berry picking with Linda Owletuck by 4-wheeler. I also went out blueberry picking in late June and blackberry picking in late August.

One day I went out berry picking to Kwik with Camille and Agnes Boliver, along with Linda O, Gloria F, Nancy F, and Theresa Boots. After getting there we ate lunch, then we climbed a hill to get to the berries. There were more blueberries than I'd ever seen in my whole life, and that time I picked about three gallons of them. This summer I also cut king salmon and fall chum with Linda O. For the rest of the summer when I wasn't doing anything I spent a lot of quality time with my kids."
