Fourth of July at Emmo

"This summer I went down to Emmonak to help my uncle fish. On the 4th of July Jeremy, Wes, Charles, Bryan and I were spying on lots of drunk people. Bryan asked the drunks if they had 50 cents so he could go to the Teen Center (T.C.). All the drunks balled him out, and Bryan got scared and came running towards us. He was running really fast, and we were cracking up. When we asked him what they had said, he told us that they had balled him out for asking them for 50 cents.

After that we went to the T.C. anyway. I gave Bryan the 50 cents because I felt sorry for him, and especially because the drunks had balled him out. While we were in the T.C. the manager kicked us out for fooling around too much. After that we went to the dance, but it was kind of boring because there was hardly anybody there. Then Bryan had to go home. It was then that Jeremy accidentally hit a girl in the head with a ball. When she chased him he fell on the boardwalk, and we started cracking up. After the girl gave up, Jeremy caught up to us and we went over to the restaurant.

At the restaurant we ordered fries and hamburgers, and after we were really full we went out. I had to go to the bathroom, and when I was done we all went to see the fireworks down at the beach. While we were watching this guy light the fireworks, Jeremy's auntie's little bulldog ran up to him and bit his pants leg. Then he kicked the dog, and the dog got really mad at him, which made us laugh at that crazy dude. I told my friends that I had to go to my uncle's house to sleep, but when they convinced me to stay out longer I told them that I would go home at 12:30 A.M. I ended up staying out until 3:30 A.M.

On the 10th of July I came back to Marshall. When I got here I stayed in my house for a little while, but then it got so boring I went to check on my friends in the afternoon. But every friend I tried to wake up would just say, 'Hi Dravis,' and then go back to bed!"
