A Trip to Town

"Before August I did all my usual summer stuff. I used my time mostly to cut and dry fish.

On August 2nd, Aaron and I went to Anchorage to visit Marlene who had a bad accident at the beginning of summer and was still in the hospital. We stayed in Anchorage from August 2nd to the 7th. We mostly shopped for back-to-school clothes and for supplies for my Gram's one year memorial dinner. While I did non-stop shopping, Aaron went out and watched movies with my sister Tina, Paul Tinker, Porky, Bernice and Flora. When we weren't shopping or hanging out, we were visiting Marlene in the hospital. We were also planning to drive to Seward, but Tina's friend didn't show up and we couldn't go because we didn't have a car.

After the trip to Anchorage, I enjoyed berry picking and boat rides with my boyfriend Roy and the other members of my family."
