A Lot of Summer Help

"This summer was very busy for me. I did a lot of subsistence gathering for the winter's food supply. I cut a lot of fish, picked a lot of berries, and went out "punking" with some of my old friends. I also attended the funerals of some of my late friends and relatives at Russian Mission.

This summer I also had to saw wood for my fish house and steam house. My two grandchildren Richard and Tassie helped me do this. This year I didn't have to put away any moose meat because my daughter's boyfriend Victor caught a moose, and he and Rena put enough away for me too. My granddaughter Tassie helped them do this. I'm happy for what I got this summer."
