Gloria's 68 Kings

Gloria traveled into Anchorage to pick up her auntie Agnes Pete from the old folks home. While she was there she went shopping for her summer needs. She bought things like buckets for her fish, rock salt for her fish, and zip loc bags for her berries.

When she came home she wasn't sure she was going to cut fish here. But when the fish finally hit, Gail had so many fish to cut she went over to help her. The next day her sister Lena had fish to cut, so she she went over to help her out. Finally when it was her turn to cut fish, her brother Roy and Paul Buster went out drifting. They came back with two totes of King salmon, and they gave her one tote, and her sister Lena got the other tote. That day she cut about 68 Kings! That was the most she ever cut in one day!

Earlier Gloria picked some blue berries and some raspberries around here. And recently Gloria has been busy picking black and cranberries. Her daughter Maureen already picked her some salmon berries from Napaskiak.
