Delores's

¿Summer?

Delores's summer was not all that busy. She did the same old things she does every summer such as cut fish and pick berries to put away. She wanted to go and pick berries with her parents across from Pilot Station, but she didn't because she had to stay home and make sure that her fish were smoked good.

She also went on boat rides up and down the river, going to different berry picking grounds. She went as far up the river as Old Landing in Kuik and down to Takcak. She also went to pick raspberries across the river at Owl Slough.

A couple of times Delores went down to St. Mary's and Pilot Station to visit her family and relatives. When she wasn't picking berries or watching her fish she also took steam baths with her friends. And, of course, she entertained her kids. Other than that her summer was pretty straight forward.
