Paul Boot's Summer:Paul Boot's Summer
"I worked around here all summer. About a month ago I hurt my leg when I was trying to help push a four wheeler up the hill. I slipped and hurt my muscle. So I was layed up for a while. Earlier I went fishing for about 4 weeks, but I didn't make much money. A lot of people got married this summer and I went to these weddings. But I couldn't go to Vernon's anniversary because of my hurt leg. There were a lot of people who came in from other villages to the anniversary celebration, and I wanted to meet them but I couldn't because my leg was hurt. I'm feeling better now, though, and I'm working back in the school again. I also went to Russian Mission this summer for a four day Russian Orthodox Church conference. There were lots of priests there, and even the bishop. We had church services and meetings for three days Nick Isaac became a deacon and Tom Andrew became a sub-deacon. Then I returned back home. I didn't go to Ohog this summer for the church camp there. I had to stay home in Marshall."' By: Paul Boots
