My New Grandson

"I never really did anything different this summer other than enjoy sleeping in and not have to get up so early like I have to right now. But is was a good summer vacation. What made it a bit more exciting was all the weddings we had here in Marshall, one right after the other. That was nice.

Another good thing that happened was I became a grandma on June 19. So I have a grandson whose name is Tristan Arthur William Fitka. We sure are enjoying him. My other children, Shannon and Donald, just love him too. It didn't take Shannon long to know that she's an auntie, but Donald keeps calling Tristan his uncle, instead of it being the other way around. They enjoy every minute of the day with him. Tristan is a very special little loving person in our lives now.

Other than that, I cut fish, picked berries, and visited friends and relatives in other villages whenever. So, it was a good summer for me!!"
