Terri's Wonderful Wedding

On June 31, 1995 Terri and her family traveled to Emmonak for her wedding with Bill Manumik, who is originally from Emmonak. They stayed there for four days getting ready. Everybody they knew was down there, like her relatives from Kotlik, Saint Mary's, Saint Michael, Sheldon Point, Alakanuk, Anchorage and Bethel. Terri chose Martha Burgess from Wasilla to be her maid of honor. And Bill's best man was his brother Paul Manumik from Sheldon Point. Terri's sister Marian Okitkun from Kotlik married them. She had a special license to do this.

The wedding was held in the Emmonak Community complex, and the ceremony took two and a half hours finish.

When the wedding was over they had a reception at the Complex, and everybody was there. After the wedding all Terri could think about was she was happy to be married, and she couldn't believe that she was married.
