Richard's Trip to South Dakota

Richard Olsen and his wife, Janice, went down to South Dakota this past summer to visit his mom because she wasn't feeling so good. His mother had to go to a nursing home. They had to sell her house because she couldn't take care of herself anymore. Richard helped his mother move the furniture in the house.

After that, he and his wife went to Nampa, Idaho, for a close friend's high school graduation. Then a week later they went to Minnesota to visit some old friends they met in college. They had a cabin on a lake, and a nice boat and jet skis----so they wouldn't be bored in the summer time, they said.

Then in August, Richard and his wife came back up to Anchorage. From there, they flew out to Marshall to teach for a few more years.
