A Great Hunting Trip

On August 18, on a cloudy day, Nicholas Fitka Jr., Allen Boliver and Richard Boots went on a hunting trip using Allen's boat. They went up Willow Creek, and after waiting for about one hour, they saw a black bear which they shot and killed with their 30-06's. It took them 45 minutes to gut and skin the bear. The first to shoot at the bear was Richard Boots, but Nick was the first to hit the bear. Richard and Nicholas split up the meat, but because it was Nick's first bear he had to give a lot of his share away to elders like Pete Williams and other people. But he was able to keep alot of it too. Next time he'll get to keep it all.
