Theresa George's Summer Vacation

"My summer vacation was okay," Theresa began. "The best part of my summer was spent in Fairbanks with the Upward Bound Program at the University of Alaska. I met a lot of people from all over the state, went shopping, went to a carnival and hung around with my friends."

"After I came back to Marshall, I went on several boat rides to rod and reel. I also went to Nuksuk which is a tributary of Owl Slough. When we were in Nuksuk we saw a black bear and then we saw a moose. The moose was standing still and we watched it for a while until it ran into the trees. We also saw baby ducks and other waterfowl. The rest of my summer was spent staying in Marshall and trying to have fun."
