Oxie's Summer

Oxie stayed at her fishcamp when they started to work on the old A.V.C.P. housing, including her own house. While she was at her camp she mostly cut and dried fish, went looking for berries near Kwik and Wilson sloughs. At the end of July she went to the Russian Orthodox Youth Camp at Ohogamiut with other adults and students from different villages on the Yukon. While she was there she helped cook, clean, and some other stuff that the people who went did.

Oxie went back to Marshall a few weeks after they were done working on her house. Then she and her family had a lot of things to unpack and put back in their newly refinished home.
