Michelle's Marshall Vacation

This summer was very busy for Michelle because she spent the whole summer working in Anchorage and never got to do anything else but shop and stay home. Only while she was home in Marshall did she get to visit with old friends whom she was very happy to see. This summer she said she hasn't really gotten around to do the things she used to do. But she did go on one boat ride. It was a calm quiet evening when she and her friend Peter went across the river to check things out. It was nice to get out instead of being home all the time, she said.

On her way home from Anchorage she brought her youngest cousin Alicia with her because she knew there would be times when she would be bored and have nothing to do. During her stay here in Marshall she attended community activities, such as square dances. She said she expected more from this summer vacation but nothing more really happened. But she was at least satisfied with the part of her vacation she spent here. She hopes to make it home again for the Christmas vacation.
