Liz's Summer Vacation

Liz took 3 months off from working at the clinic to take care of her son Daniel. Then she and her family went over to Anchorage for a week vacation. They rented a car and drove all over the city. They also went shopping, did some swimming and ate at Chucky Cheese's. They also took a ride over to Eagle River to check it out.

She also attended a conference held for health aides at St. Mary's. There she took different courses, like Pediatrics emergency Care, I.V.'s, Oxygen Use, Math skills, Disfunctional Families, etc.

Liz also cut some strips and subsistence fished. After that she went back to work at the clinic. She hasn't gone on a boat ride yet this year and hasn't gone out picking berries. She really wishes that before the summer is over she will be able to take at least one boat ride!
