Fred's Busy Summer

Fred Fitka had a busy summer. He mostly worked with BLM, went commercial fishing and did chores for his mother Mary Fitka. He also took Sophie Ann fishing and tried to teach her how to pull up nets and other things that have to do with fishing season.

He went to get wood for his house to stock up for the winter, and he fed his dogs with help from Sophie Ann and Lois. He also worked on his motor and boat so he could go traveling to different places, and he went bird hunting almost every day and even caught a few.

Once he went for a boat ride to Charlie Evan's old fish camp and had a lot of fun there." We tried to catch some terns," he said,"but we only saw a baby tern and played with it for awhile until the mother of the baby tern started to attack us. So we left it alone and took off for Marshall."

All and all he had a fun and busy summer.
