Andy's Great Summer

Andy Boots did a few fun things this summer. In June he and his captain, Tim Andrew, got ready for commercial fishing. And he said that fishing wasn't too bad for him and Tim. After the fishing season was over he took his boys up to Willow fishing where they caught pike and humpies (pink salmon). He also took his youngest boy out hunting for geese. And then he took his boys out berry picking. "There were hardly any berries, but we had fun," said Andy. Andy plans on bringing both of them out moose hunting with him when the season opens, but he doesn't know where yet. He wishes the summer vacation was a little longer so he could do a few more things he needs to do on his free time. But even though the summer went by pretty fast for him, he enjoyed every last bit of it.

A couple of days ago he went out bear hunting and he caught one. He ended up skinning the bear alone. He felt bad because he hadn't skinned a bear in 10 years. Though the rain is back he intends to enjoy the fall the best he can. And he looks forward to another great summer.
