Rena told me that her summer was mainly spent working in Hunter's store and staying home with her kids. Once while she was home with her kids, Annette,her youngest daughter, was imitating everything that Rena did. She found that very cute. She had fun with her other daughter too, like when she washed Gwen's hair. Gwen gets real excited when she has her head washed because her head feels different, and she thinks she's going to die or something.

Once when Rena was walking Gwen to their house, Gwen refused to go inside. So Rena jerked her wrist just a little bit, and Gwen started to cry a lot, telling Rena that her wrist was broken. Rena believed her and brought her to the clinic. But a few days later, Gwen's wrist was still bothering her, so Rena took her to Bethel. There they went to the doctor, and he took an X-ray of her wrist. The doctor said it wasn't broken, it was just clicked. It really surprised Rena that Gwen could fake an injury so very simply, and she was so young. But she says that Gwen is excited to go to Pre-school.

Rena also cut fish this summer. It was her first time, but she thought she did pretty good. She didn't cut the fish messy, and she didn't let the fish fall off the table like her sister did. She says she hasn't gone out berry picking yet because she works in Hunter's store all day.
